Yea.. a maximum of two weeks.. It comes from a place that buys totaled cars with good engines.. and they deliver to a place in town every Tuesday.. I don't get how it takes 2 weeks to get an engine out of a car, but what do ya do.. Especially considering that it will only take them a day and a half to take my old engine out and completely put the new one in.. tell me what's wrong with that picture lol

Is there any way I can convince you to look for an LKQ and get a Low Mileage 2006-2009 Series III 3800?

A few questions...
What is LKQ?
How many miles?
Would it fit in my car?
And how much?
And where are you located/shipping charges?

CDawg, LKQ is a junkyard.
The series III longblock (re-use your intake and accessories, but with a new UIM), and you can find them with very low miles, since they were put in cars from 2004-2008. There's gotta be hundreds if not thousands of 3800's in junkyards near you. He doesn't have a motor in his possession, nor is he gonna ship you one from Florida, he's just trying to point you in the right direction instead of you having to wait 2 weeks for a motor that may or may not work.

yes but the company that is putting my engine in orders them, because they are verified to work and have a 90 day warranty.

Obviously if they're waiting for their third engine they're not verified to work. Find a junkyard w/ a 90 day warranty. Most do.

this is from a diff. place now... the engine runs fine, just has stuff wrong with it, so not taking that chance.
