Man! Take that $4,000 and run!!! You'd never get that much for that car with a salvage title on the open market.

What would that accomplish? Its still going to have a salvage title?

I'm gonna take your advice on this. I really did think I would be able to get at least 5k out of it, but I guess not.

Oh of course... once the body work is done.

Ya, this isn't the first flip that ended up in the family. My dad bought that 97 SSEi 40th from me.
I have taken her for a few short drives to some local body shops, and I must say that it rides better than my 00. I'm kinda jealous. I haven't been driving my 00 very much, mostly the truck. So when I drove this new 00, it felt like it had just gobs of power... She runs great. No codes, no SSS lights, nothing.

Yup.
Here are a few pics since the interior has been installed. I still haven’t got to the rear regulators so that’s why the door panels are off.

How is the ISS on it? Every 2k model I've driven has that issue.

No clunking that I noticed in the small amount I have driven it. I'll let you know more later.

Very nice and very clean! I love the work you do with flipping these cars. Question about the cleaning, do you just power wash the carpet then sprinkle the detergent on it, then power wash it again?

At least he doesn't have to worry about sunroof leaks. I wouldn't mind not having a sunroof. It wouldn't be a deal-breaker for me.

Darn it, now you have me interested in fixing my headlight........................looking good.
I nominate you or crash to do a tech info write up on headlight repair.
Do you have a set of fogs lined up yet? That looks like the only thing needed to be complete again.

Well I guess we both could. Crash has the professional stuff, and I have the bargain stuff. They both work, but I'm 100% sure his looks better.
I have the original fogs that were in the trunk... except they are tinted black. I'm gonna try to remove what tint I can and then do the same thing as I did to the headlights.
