i have made an exhaust list for when i get my highflow cat this is what i am thinking about saving my money for over the next few months

Muffler, Red Hots, 2 1/2 in. Inlet/2 1/2 in. Outlet, Red Steel, Each <------1 this will be an experiment to replace the resonator if i don't like it i am only out $12.00
$11.95

Muffler, Aero Chamber, 2 in. Inlet/2 in. Outlet, Steel, Aluminized, Black, Each <------2
$67.95

Catalytic Converter, Stainless Steel, Universal, 2.5 in. Inlet/Outlet, 16 in. Length, Each <------1
$72.95

total cost before tax and shipping $220.80 i also have a $20 off coupon that i am not counting

also if i decide to get a 3" downpipe later on how does it attach to the 2.5" converter?

 Oh, you've got a ricer muffler! I've always wanted to try that to replace a resonator.

I meant the "Red Hots" muffler you listed.

Also, I think you'd be better off with a 3" in/out cat. If you'd still rather use a 3" downpipe to a 2.5" cat, it's still the same coupler that an exhaust shop would use to go from a 3" pipe to a 2.5". It's a conical type adapter. I've seen it on other cars, and it's barely noticeable since it just goes in a quarter of an inch all the way around.

yeah sorry i forgot it doesn't say flowtech redhots, i figure a glass pack up there will make for a nice idle sound without droning on.

so whichever way i go with the cat it can be installed without problems thats good to know

I found that deleting the resonator was a bad idea so I installed a 36" long x 3" resonator like this.

You are supercharged so I would recommend going to a 3" Cat and resonator. The Y should be a Flowmaster 3" to twin 2 1/2".

your exhaust is beautiful!!!!

was the reason for not changing the resonator performance or sound

Sound. With a resonator, it's all about toning it down and managing the drone.

That's great.
Experimentation leads to innovation.

Be sure to post before and after sound clips.

You could just straight pipe it, that gives it a nice sound!

Remember that 3" exhaust is far too much for your car. The Bullet is pretty extensively modded.

Open up too much and you'll lose low-end torque.
