Yeah, I can't wait til this crappy winter ends.
Ed, I'm the same as you, except if it's below 20 for me, I don't wash it. But I just had to this morning. Parking under a tree sucks, as my hood and windshield were covered in dried brown and white spots from the birds (plus the salt). I couldn't take it anymore. -8 was instant freeze. Somehow I got my door open, but the car was just covered in ice. But, it looks cleaner now!

I keep a roll of shop towels in the car. After I pull out of the wash I wipe of the front and rear doors on the driver side quick, works good. If I don’t do that then it’s a problem haha. My gas door gives me issues also and I have to coat the cap and lock with WD-40 about once a month to keep that from ceasing up. Ed, it wouldn’t make as much sense for you. All of the Holiday stores in St. Cloud area are owned by Coborns. Closest stations to central MN my pass work at are Big Lake and Monticello. I believe the Coborns chain has their own pass but then those only work inner city at the stores they own…

I just don't bother. Pulling back out onto the street it'll look like it did when you pulled in...

Picked up a newer autodimming compass mirror for the Regal. It was a little loose so I switched mounts with another mirror and had to glue it back together.
Now we play the waiting game.
Also picked up another set of wheels for the GP.

I went to the touchless car wash and then I learned that the GP has a lamp monitor, so I changed the bulb that it said was out.

A lot of these are ancient (>8 years) but it hasn't really changed much. It just sits around right now. I was young when I took them so please excuse the angles lol

never been flipped.
These are my most recent shots:

If you look closely you can spot a certain Lesabre in the background..
The GP's due for a makeover...

The GP bs009 has looks a lot like the GP the wife and I put 100K miles on with a bad connecting rod - rod knocked, time to change the oil.
What did I do to the car today? - opened the garage door and cringed as both the ole green monster and the wife's CTS are dirrrrrrrty! Lots of rain lately and no place to get it washed till it stops - LOL. Then took the grandson to work at Discount Tire. Came back home and put the ole green monster back into the garage and cringed again 'cause both cars are soooooo dirty. I don't even want to think about how dirty the ole gray mare might be. - BC

Rolled all 2's on my truck today!
Only 200,000 more to go to catch up to my original Bonnie

Wasn't today, but last Sunday I had to put on another front tranny mount (3rd one), and new plugs (NGK TR55GP) and new wires, and rotated tires on my Bonnie. Also had to put a new A/C blower motor/fan on my daughter's Bonnie...bearings were going and it was squealing all the time...interfering with her music...
I have always gooped lots of dielectric grease on both ends of the plug wires, but this time one of the coil posts had somehow gotten water in and it rusted...resulting in a miss under load. Then a good wash to clean off all the road salt....
Also had to put a new oil pressure sending unit on the X-11 ... it started leaking on my way back from Daytona last Nov...

only lost about a cup of oil though.

We need to get this stickied.
Last night diagnosed, troubleshot, and fixed a P0480 on the RGC. The CANbus was not communicating with the fan, turned out to be the relay.

Couldn't not drive into puddles today. Voltage kept dropping cause of stupid belt slip. At least it got a bath.
Also, Ben. That GP looks GREAT

I backed mine into a half frozen, half melting pile of snow. Scratched the paint on the rear bumper.
I was in a hurry this morning and wasn't paying attention.

Now I really can't wait for spring, so I can bust out my polisher and fix things like that.

I tore mine apart. Every puddle was in slow motion the first few miles of driving the GXP. But it's refreshing to drive it again. I'll post pics in my thread of progress.

I sooo want to drive the Caddy, especially before I go get my knee torn apart and re-welded together next week as I won't be able to drive for some time, but I refuse to subject it to this sh*t!
