Interestingly enough, going down the 1/4 mile I was able to run an identical 60-foot time in the GXP as I did with the '95 SSEi low end torque monster (2.2 seconds). :dontknow:

It has very sharp throttle response. You can get Prius's in 0 - 6 mph jaunts...

I never had those issues.

I traded in a 2002 SSEi for my 2005 GXP. This is purely subjective from driving both but I have always thought the SSEi would be ahead of the GXP off the line because of the supercharger boost being there immediately. However, I think as soon as the GXP got to 3000 RPM the SSEi would be toast. Just my opinion.

Throttle response is one thing these cars don't have.

I've done some side by side, real-time comparisons, and between the two cars I honestly think tires and driver control matter more. Those 60' times don't lie.

Again, I never had an issue here. Mine was plenty sharp. Almost too sharp. I'd have liked to have toned it down some.

Admittedly though, I had an homemade CAI that ran down behind the headlight and exhaust amongst other things. So mine was moving air into and out of the engine a little bit more efficiently than stock.

I had a ported tb on my Grand Prix. It had insane response. Driving my gxp feels like they've purposefully reduced response. Granted my car is all stock
