Ordered winter tires/wheels for it from Discount Tire Direct. Tires are Nokian Hakkapelitta R low rolling resistance snow tires, and wheels are 16" Rage A5 wheels that weigh 17 lbs apiece. Considering the OEM wheels and tires are 36 lbs, having a 40 lb setup for the winter is an okay compromise. I got the Nokians since they are supposed to be excellent in inclement weather. Cost was far too much.

You posting pictures of your cruze makes me want to post pictures of my new Focus! They are both great cars, and I was leaning heavily toward a cruze until I started selling Fords lol
Love the black!

Washed/clayed/Duragloss 105 sealant today:
Hi, everybody!
Random shot:
Collinite 476s carnauba wax will happen tomorrow morning after the Duragloss has time to cure.
Later on I helped the neighbors wash that gold mist metallic GP and their Grand Cherokee lurking in the background. They look a million times better after the quick wash they gave them.

About 300 miles a week. That's not much for me. I'll really pile on the miles this fall for work.

Moar pikshurs!
This is the Duragloss topped with Collinite 476s. It went on easily, and even removed easily! I was shocked by the last one, as Collinite 476 is not known for easy removal.
As you can see, it's even shinier with the Collinite:
Trunk with microfiber used for dusting:
Down the passenger's side:
Reflections:
It was a lot of work, but the results speak for themselves.

I know it's not true but every time I see a close-up of the paint, I keep thinking it's rock chips...

I keep thinking it's dirt or dust. Even when it was just clayed it looked dirty. It does look great in the sun, and hides dirt excellently since it looks dirty to start. If I had to do it again, I'd get a flat black, not the metallic. Oh well, at least it's a color I can quite easily live with.

vs.
We're going to have to have a black car shine-off. Lol.
You probably have an advantage since your car has 1,000 miles while mine has 97,000 miles.

Orange peel? Where is there orange peel? It does look kinda peely in the photos thanks to the metallic flake in the paint.
