Definitely NOT a pushrod. I'm guessing a valvespring that took out a valve and the piston.

I think right now the consensus is valve spring.

I'm thinking it could be as simple as a retainer keeper popping off. Not high enough lift to stress a valve spring that much.

7:50 Pacific Time
8:50 his time.
Good time.
And they got there safe with no legal interventions.
Now get down to strategic poultry discussions.

Whatever happened, that engine is locked up tight!

And promptly marked his territory with a Zilla sticker on the underside of the toilet lid.

Freakin' kids.
Then Matt found out, accidentally and fortuitously, that he can change channels on his TV at home from here via a phone app. Needless to say they had minutes of fun with that until the "coven" (Bill's term) at home shut that activity down with some threatening phone calls. (Recall where the zilla is currently parked).

I can't believe we have to do this all over again.

14 hour drive there but only 12 hours back to Matt's. Three fill-up's and two drivers is not too bad.
Did you run out of Zilla stickers?

plenty of stickers. 1.25 tanks burned. Getting tire balance fixed now. Then off for the dolly.

There aren't that many toilets in the world.

Sirius & the Chicken enjoying the sun:
Loading the Chicken on the tow dolly. None of us had the cajones to tell Kim that Matt had left the parking brake on. She got it loaded anyway.
A rare pic of Bill taking a picture of something that wasn't actually HIS handiwork.
The Rubber Chicken begins the journey home. Departed around 11:00 AM Utahrd time.
Only thing left to do here is to go around the neighborhood and find all the Zilla stickers.
Good luck guys!!
