I love the way these exhausts sound!

I like the tint on the tails, too, goes really good with the red! I don't know about mine though, I actually thing those rear turn signals kind of blend in with the white, doesn't seem to stick out as much on yours.

However, those front orange markers need to go on both our cars!

Yes they do! After I ditch that Mickey Mouse antenna on the roof for a sharkfin I'll be getting clear front markers.

So, I ended up getting Michelin to cover the dry rotting and chunking on my tires. So the Pilots have been replaced with MXM4 Primacys. Down the road I plan to get new wheels with summer tires anyway, so I don't mind a little less performance, these are much quieter than the Pilots.

Also threw a coat of wax on, finally.

After this past weekend I've fallen out of love with the Solo v2 Catback again, at least, the way it sits now. WAY too quiet. Need headers. I also had my brother drive the car while I drove the IS300 behind/alongside. Yup, need more noise. Northstar Corsa is way louder and awesomer.

In an ideal world I'd probably do Kooks + Corsas, but Kooks + existing Solo will leave enough leftover for a dyno tune.

Yeah, eventually I plan to do headers and cutouts. But for now, I agree with you it is rather quiet. Which is why I'm going to remove the secondary cats this car has (09.5 only emissions addition) and put in an X pipe, that should hold me over as far as power and sound goes for a while. But before that, I am soon to be working on a tune.

The level on my Mach system is just right (at least for now, haha), but of course I plan to add Kooks headers (someday), which will increase the volume, so that will make it suck for my neighbors in the mornings!

I don't know when I'll get a tune, much less where I'll be getting it from. I'll figure that out later anyway, as most of my money right now is going towards the LeSabre and Bonneville, and saving for trips this summer.

They'll be a new set of GXP wheels when I get to it. I haven't decided (and won't until it happens probably) if I'll sell these or keep them as spares.

These have curb rash on three of the four. I can live with it but someday I'll replace them.

As I mentioned on CHC, now I gotta go battle Michelin for dry rot and only 50k miles on 6 year/90k HydroEdge's. :( I'll probably wait until I get new wheels for the van though.

Not true at all, you just have to keep a sharp eye on Grrrr8.net I'm always helping the guy(CrazyPaul) get them so that he can sell them to G8 guys.

Don't fall for that Grrrr8.net or whatever. He was one of the disruptive %&(*&_(&%# that we banned from G8Board. He got his undies in a bunch and went and created his own board. Then spammed members on G8Board through PM to come join his. G8Board is the original, has the most knowledge, etc...

While I agree that grrrr8.net started in the most BS of ways (I refused to go there for a long time because of it) it really has become a very good place for knowledge and deals and what not. Any G8 guy is selling themselves short by being on one and not the other.

Nothing on that board can't be found on the G8board. While there is nothing wrong with multiple competing sites, the overall knowledge is still the same...

We go through this cycle with LS1GTO.com/LS2GTO.com all the time. Someone gets their panties in a wad over the gestapo, owned for a profit by a parent company, board that LS1GTO is, then they stammer off with their ball, create their own site, basing it on "all tech, no B.S.", only to be a ghost town with tumbleweed floating across the forums indexes, and most go back to... LS1GTO.com for all their tech info.

Same with the G8Board (which is the sister site to LS1GTO, which was created and staffed by those of us from LS1GTO, before being sold off to Autoforums).

My problem with multiple boards is my participation across them all. The more I join, the less active I am. I pretty much hover around this board all day long. I signed up at G8Board, but the only time I go over there is to look up information (about once a week now). I almost never post there.

I even joined several tech forums awhile back. Now, one I check only once a week, and the other I haven't posted to in over 2 years.

I'm just not a very active online person.

I try to be active on all my frequently visited forums, but it's a tough thing sometimes. Basically, when I see a need to, I post.

I have been playing with the tune the last couple days. Freaking wow!

Hopefully next thing (after the LCAs get done, they're shaking a bit now) will be ditching the secondary cats in favor of an X pipe. Can't wait til my bday party to see what she runs at the track.
