Nice work guys. Looks like you got a pretty nice shop there, that's awesome. I'll have to make my way up there sometime and check the place out for myself.
Anyway, glad you got that done, have fun with the Intense stuff
Kinda cool how the color of you car seems to change, light blue to gray/silver.

I forgot to mention the most important news of yesterday! Ed dropped my heat gun, while it was plugged in, into the parts washer bin. It was completely submerged. Luckily it wasn't powered on. We let it dry out for about 30 minutes and then turned it on. It seemed to work ok, and when he shut it off, it backfired and blew out a puff of smoke! After that, we let it run for about 5 minutes and it didn't seem to have a problem, should be ok.

Car looks great! What size pulley? Did you just paint the SC or is it ported also? I love the black SC, but I think I prefer all black valve covers to go with it, which reminds me I have to paint my SC housing yet so I can install it this spring.
Looks like a new home for Midwest meets!!
I could sure go for a day in there just to detail my car. Luckily I have the winery to do that in tonight.

I don't have the porting stuff, so I just painted it. Yes, it's a 3.4, and it's going to get me in some trouble
Andrew, it blew out a flame when I shut it off, LOL.

Thanks for all the compliments!! I changed my oil again with Mobil 1 5W-30, and a K&N HP-2001 filter, made sure the cooling system was all burped and full, and rotated the tires. I do love the cleared corners, especially now since I have legal bulbs, LOL.

btw yours in the only bonne that i have seen with that color
Honestly.. I'm thinking this concept car is the one that Ed has right now lol. It's exactly the same.
Theory: the color was a "test" to see how people reacted to it, and they never went through with it.

The Bonneville color palette adds Steel Blue Metallic, Rainforest Green Metallic and Sport Red Metallic for 2003
Marty said he saw an SLE in Sauk Centre the same color, and a guy on 3800pro says his buddy has that color SE.

i might be a little late on this but you mentioned MSD coils.. haven't heard any good things about those on our cars. i think alot of the 500+whp gp's going around here swear by stock coils and stock wires! i got a set of prj's on mine, which are like $120.00 from zzp, and they don't seem to sit real tight on the plugs. i'm considering going back to stock wires... just wondering did you put a bead of silicone under the orange rubber pieces on the ends of your LIM gaskets?

Yes, I put a small bead of RTV under the orange rubber pieces on the ends of the LIM gaskets.

He was very meticulus (read: anal) about making sure everything was sealed really well.
EDIT: And no, if one of my coils ever goes out I'll upgrade, till then I'll save my cash for something else. I have Beldin Premium wires on there, and they work great.
