The GM pushrod V6s, where in 90* or 60* guise, were always great at nailing down great fuel economy numbers for their size and displacement on the open road.

I topped off the tank today and calculated the mileage manually. It came out to 23.1 vs 23.7 on the DIC. I'd say 0.6 mpg is definitely within a reasonable margin of error.
