"Clear coat safe, the formula creates a brilliant, high gloss finish by conditioning and nourishing paint through the replenishment of valuable oils"

Key words there. I'd be willing to bet that stuff just fills in the scratches due to the oils. The Klasse then seals it in for a while, but then once the Klasse wears off, you see the scratches again.

I agree with Ryan. Go to a JY amd pick up any car fender or hood, the less expensive the better, and use the PC with a polishing compound on the car body part. You will see that there is not too much of a chance to wreck the paint unless you drop the PC on the car.

I understand now you feel. I felt the same way, after bad experiences from years ago with heavy compounds, rotary polishers, and lousy clear coat. After seeing Ryan's can Tom's vehicles at a meet, I though it may be worth giving it a try. To say that their cars were shiny would almost be an insult. ;)

So, with Tom's encouragement and knowledge, I bought a Griot's Garage polisher. Menzerna polishes, pads, sealants and waxes. I even had some donated to try. While I can't say that I'm anywhere near as good as they are, my car looks significantly better than it did. Try it. You won't be sorry.

This is a cell phone picture of my car about a month after finishing my first attempt at polishing.

An orbital is pretty much foolproof. To do damage with one requires malice really. Watch some YouTube videos , read recommended settings, take names and kick ass!

The trick is to understand the instructions. If you are not familiar with some of the terms, you don't really understand what you're reading. You think it means one thing and it means something else, at least that's happened to me - a lot. - BC
