2012 MZ3 is an all right car. My brother has a 2012 Skyactiv MZ3 hatch (yes, it's a proper manual transmission). It's competent at what it does.

I hate the Mazda. It sucks in all aspects. As of now I have no idea what I want next I'm just testing a broad range of cars to see what strikes my fancy.

What price range? $20k new car, or more expensive? Ford's bringing the Focus ST over here if he can hold out long enough.

I wish I could test-drive the ATS with the 2.0T/6MT. That's a tune and a few bolt-ons away from 300 hp.

I agree Cody. It helps to tell us what your considerations and budget are, so we can help point you in the right direction.

Actually the Focus ST starts at $23.7k ($24.5k after destination) and that comes with ALL of the performance parts across the whole line (252hp 2.0 ecoboost, 6-speed manual, e-diff, torque vectoring) and other features including... Sync, Intelligent key, Sirius, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember off the top of my head... Anyways, it's pretty well equipped for that price.

If you want MyFord Touch and the Recaro seats (which are fantastic, btw) you'll have to step up to the ST2 which is around $28k after destination.

If I was buying a new car below $30k... My short list includes:
Mustang GT, Camaro, WRX, Focus ST, GTI, Genesis

Add in used cars (probably have a winter beater):
E46 M3, S2000, G8 GT, C5 Z06, Solstice GXP/Sky Redline, CTS-V

Under $10k: I **really** can't stress the love for my 330. Comfy, modern enough tech, without being overdone, parts aren't stupid expensive, great styling, and a true sports car underneath...
Also: MKIV GTI, Older WRX, 05-10 Mustang GT, N/A Solstice, NC Miata

You've been talking to their marketing too much :P

Keep the "e-diff", gimme a real LSD, Recaros... Shame the electronics are so integrated and they don't offer a striped down version.

Thanks for the offers to help but I will be fine. I just need to look at everything and decide what I ultimately want.
