Yes. Actually the GM fuel system cleaner you can buy IS Chevron Techron relabelled. So I have no issues with it. But if you run heavily oxyginated fuels (sh*t from Citgo and other mom/pop places), develop random misfires, and have done this for awhile, even the Techron, which is one of the first steps in troubleshooting this issue when you do an injector balance test, doesn't fix it, you gotta mechanically repair/replace sh*t.

I don't have enough fingers, that on a daily basis I could count, where someone would come in with their Malibu, Lumina, Impala, whatever, saying "my CEL is on and I have a rough running engine (from the random misfires)", only to ask them what fuel they use? Citgo! Yea, go ahead and run this stuff through a tank and see if that fixes the problem. If not, then come back. That stuff was Chevron Techron.

Dpnew, the only difference is the concentration levels.

I figured that out one day when my local Pontiac (now just Buick-Cadillac-GMC) dealer had a bottle of the GM cleaner on the shelf, and the bottle was identical to the Techron bottle, lol. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

Yes, of pretty much all GM vehicles. Not just one model specific. Although, no lies, if I could pick and choose which vehicles I could take off the incoming service line, I'd prefer the trucks or performance vehicles, sans Vette's. Vette's always went to one guy unless it was something menial that needed a simple once over.
