The 4T65E is not as efficient as the 4T60E as well, mainly due to the manner in which the TCC is controlled. It's constantly active, causing fluid temps to rise.

Now you see why jrs3800 and I have been preaching for years for every car here to have an aux trans cooler. Cooler fluid is longer fluid life, and less drivetrain loss.
