First time: I was driving home late from Foxwoods (around 2 am) with my grandfather when we were about 5 miles from home and it was foggy and the roads were wet. I was on a straight away doing around 40 and i looked in the distance and saw what looked like a huge rock in the road. I locked up the brakes (the abs didn't work ) and before i knew it i was in the opposite lane in the opposite direction just like i was heading that way to begin with. After i cleaned my pants i looked around and the "rock" was a raccoon, which was probably as scared i I was. Luckily another car wasn't coming and i didn't do any damage to the car or the raccoon.
2nd time: 3 or 4 winters ago i was snowmobiling in northern New Hampshire with about 5 other people. I was in the back and was zipping along around 60 mph on my 96 Arctic Cat ZRT 600. When out of the blue my grandfather slams on his brakes cause he missed a turn. I nailed my breaks, and the track locked up. Next thing i see is the ground as the sled rolls. When i got back up, my sleds off the trail upside down ( and my grandfathers gone). I somehow managed to flip it back over just as he shows up. Luckily it hit the kill switch when it rolled and only broke the hood and windshield. I went on to ride another 300 miles that weekend (a very pain full 300 miles i clipped a tree the next day and bent my ski , i sprained my ankle and wrist and had a few other bruises but i was ok, it was a terrible weekend) If it wasn't for my helmet it could have been a lot worse.
I've also been rear ended 3 times, once in my 94 sse, once in my 99 sle and another in a school bus by a rv, but those weren't scary they just pissed me off
