It doesn't explicitly require it, but I use it. It likes it from what people who have run both to compare have said. I'll be able to tune it to run premium only when I tune, if I so choose.

Yeah, I run premium on mine too.

Hasn't cost me a whole lot more, since I only fill up about once a month.

Can't have too much fun with 8* of knock on a supercharged 3800.

Although I learned sometime ago that you can go sideways with FWD, it's just not as fun (or as safe) as RWD.

I discovered that years ago! Lots of members will vouch for having seen me do it, in a few cars.

But proper oversteer is more fun.

tint made a world's difference. hence the reason I also did 20% on my Bonneville after I got. actually, I think you were the first to comment/ complement on the post after I did it. lol.

did you also swap in the yellow fogs?

I did those a couple of weeks ago. I ended up getting free yellow bulbs, and wanted more yellow during the day, so I put on yellow Lamin-X as well. Carl calls my fogs yellow-ception.

I didn't even notice the fogs!

They look good, and I think Carl has the perfect name for them.

Maybe not, I'm on so many *dang* forums it's hard to keep track sometimes.

I'm gonna go away from the yellows on mine, and go 6k to match my headlights. I do like the color they provide, but it seems almost as if they're taking away from the light the headlights are putting out.

Possibly with an HID kit that would provide that illusion. These don't do any more light than stock, they're only 24w bulbs, but the color really helps in the rain/fog.

I'm still running stock bulbs.

Haven't really considered anything aftermarket yet.

I wanted to tint them either black like on the limo or yellow. I thought black would fade into the car too much, the yellow stands out.

Yeah, the yellow does look good.

I think black would have only worked if the fog inserts were painted, but then that takes away from the GXP look.

Yeah I don't want to change the front end other than remove that license plate (when I get new ones) and I need to replace the grille too. Luckily a guy on CHC got me the part number and I found it online for 85 bucks brand new.

I just realized, your plate is mounted lower than mine. I wonder if that's a difference between a GT and GXP. Never noticed it before.

No that has to do with how they mounted it when the car was sold. I love it where it is, if I have to have it I guess. But I'd rather not have it at all. GXPs look much better without it.

Yeah, I'd love all my vehicles to not have front plates, but that would not go over well with the state authorities.
