I wouldn't call myself an angry driver. Most of the time, I've got a *shoot*-eating grin on my face.

Maybe we're angry drivers because we read the angry postings people make after reading an article. That's a bit tongue-in-cheek, but did you get a load of the tension in some of those comments?

Oh, and back on topic, the more I see the G8 and hear personal experiences from owners, the more I like it as an eventual option for me. Especially the GT.

I got a new badge for it. Well, it's not new. I've had it for a few years when some guy sent it to me instead of the white one I bought.

Have Nholds make an overlay that changes BONNEVILLE to GEE EIGHT.

Got a new mod. An autodim mirror from an 07 Trailblazer. Looks just like the G8 mirror, but with the extra feature.

I think I may do this mod aswell, I like the autodim mirror I got, but I think I probably should have the airbag indicator as a safety thing.

The airbag light gets plenty dim when the lights are on.

Autodim/Compass mirror is one of those things you just gotta have! It has been the most rewarding mod I've made to my Aurora. Its just one of those little touches that you gotta love!

"Bonneville" what the car Should have been called!

"G8" is just a new name, but to me every time I see a G8 GT I think Bonneville SSEi. Just like the G6= Grand Prix, G5= Grand Am. If the G8 were a Bonneville I think that logo looks good under the license plate.

G6= Grand Am
G5= Sunfire

G8 is more a direct replacement for the GP but SHOULD be called a Bonneville.

The G8 is closest to the Bonneville in class, size, and price.

I got 17" wheels and Firestone Winterforce tires from Tirerack. I'll get daytime pics this weekend when I test fit. Ordered Tuesday night, delivered this morning.









The other 4 tires are for my wife's Grand Am.

I tried to do the samething, but when it was all said and done, it would have cost me $2200cnd.. so I just got 18" X-Ice 2's for $1300

I paid less than that and got wheels AND the TPMS.

I put them on. I didn't get any day shots because it was cloudy, and it was dark before I was done.

They look really good on that car! You may get away with driving like that all the time if you like the look.
