I moved the tires with more tread to the back, if that says anything.

If I were bringing Penny I'd join the burn out fun. XD All about that e-brake/slipping trans.

Still in for this but I wasn't able to get off as much time as I wanted from work since my school and work schedule are tough to work with. I should be there before the sun sets on Saturday night though and will stay until Sunday night.

Can't wait to get there and help make the Bonneville's the minority lol

I might want to tint my tail lights. But it sounds like I need to bring both Bonnevilles to even things out a bit here.

We can tint lights for sure. Looks like we might be getting into some suspension work on Jerry's car for strut mounts and various other goodies, I might swap FE2 springs on my SE and who knows what else will happen!

Yeah. I either blew a strut mount or a lower control arm/ball joint, but my alignment is sure not happy now. Going to get a diagnosis in the morning and will go from there... I also have brand new tires that I don't want to trash.

I think the Bonneville ratio is now going up. I might not be bringing anything anyway, so that won't even tip the scales.

Me too. Super excited for a cruise and weekend with friends! Next year I'll bring the SSEi probably. Assuming I have garage for the G8. At this point I'll be less worried if I have it with me.

I'm also getting anxious!! Hope to be out sometime on Friday assuming I travel back from Ohio In the morning!

Also our plan is to leave here as close to 2:30 as possible Friday, stopping in Valpo for food and then trucking from there. So hopefully we'll be there before sundown!

Wish I could make it but work and school does not allow.

Make sure to bring chairs to sit on for outside, we have some but no cushions on them so they really aren't comfortable at all.

Saturday we will go out for dinner somewhat earlyish to Ghengis Khan Mongolian BBQ. Actual dinner time there will be packed like crazy, but early dinner will be fine. It is roughly $15 for your food and drink (alcohol more of course) and is all you can eat. If you haven't done Mongolian BBQ yet, you will love it! Basically there is no menu, you grab a bowl and pile whatever veggies, noodles, meat, and sauce then bring it up to the grill and they cook it all right there for you. I figure we will head there around 3 or 4 PM then head back home for some beers and the big fire.

Anyone that doesn't have my number yet and wants it, please PM me for it so if we are out to dinner or whatever and you show up I can tell you where we are and where to meet us at. Don't want anyone showing up and thinking it isn't the right place or something and then leaving to head back home


What day / time is everyone looking at for arrivals? Just wondering how much time I have Friday before people get here so I am not gone when anyone arrives. Show up any time, just let me know when so I am home.



Probably Saturday and Sunday morning we can do breakfast, get some eggs, bacon, cook up some pancakes etc... Sunday for dinner we can grill out, hot dogs, burgers, etc... Stores are close by so anyone can run and snag whatever they want. McDonalds, Subway, and also a couple pizza places and local restaurants are close as well.

Mongolian BBQ is frickin' awesome! Ate at the one in Columbus some years back before seeing a Blue Jackets (hockey) game. It was so delicious!

Not sure what time I'll be arriving Friday, but I think according to Booze it will be sometime in the afternoon.

I need to get my butt moving on getting those taillights off the Bonneville. Anyone know of how the center tail comes out?

The center tail has four nuts that hold it in place across the center of the lower part, on the wings on the top there is a clip on either side that must be popped out and they often break.

They'll probably break. I broke mine every time.

So far we're on course for the plan I posted. I'll text you when we're close by, Ryan. Then again you'll probably hear me.

I have a lot to do before then, wash and wax being the beginning of things. I'm super excited though.

I'm assuming that's the same Mongolian BBQ we went to the weekend of the 3800 Meet, that place was awesome!


I don't have a strict schedule laid out really, but I'm aiming to pick up Gweg by 8am Friday and that should put us in Midland around 2 or 3pm I'm thinking.
