Auction was today. I just won the car back for $1300 + around $400 in fees. I basically just wanted that motor back, the car comes with it. I'm going to repair the suspension in the parking lot (again), and then tow it home. I'll pick it up next week.

You seem to be on a role with getting these cars back. Kind of like double dipping sort of. At least you get to build up your parts reserve with these cars. :wink:

Yes got to love the copart fee's

did you go down to the lot and place the 1300 dollar bid ? if you did you could of saved $50 bucks in fees , thats what i try to do now ...

let us know how it works out ? if they switched anything or messed it up more by loading it on the gaint payloader fork lifter ..

You can only use the bidding stations at Copart for preliminary bids. You HAVE to use the internet for the live auctions. No way to avoid that $50 fee, I've tried.

I have bought several cars from CoPart, all loaded with the giant forklift, no problems there... they know what they are doing... they process hundreds of cars a week.
