Here are some finished up pics. I finally got the rocker molding on, and it really puts it together. Yes, the color match isn't perfect, but for not blending it, I'm happy....and so is Shannon, so thats all that matters. The pictures make it really noticable, but its not that bad in person at all.

looks sharp, everything turned out great I think! is this car going to stay pretty much stock (performance and/or appearance), or are there any plans for it?

stock for a while... but Shannon did mention last night that it would be cool to have pink heated seats LED's instead of blue like mine.... oh boy...

"I've looked, but I don't think they make pink LED's. Sorry."

I said that already, LOL

I think it would be a cool mod for her though, would definately make it "her" car. She's not a girly girl, so I don't know why she wants pink.

I've seen it in person and the paint difference is not as noticable as it in the pics. It's amazing to see the before and after.

Terrific!

You should put pink LED's in if you can find em, just cause it would be a cool project for your girl.

I wondered if you would top the PAU, this is it :)

First mod. The engine mount was horrible, and I didn't really realize it until I made the video, and got the old mount out.

Old mount unbolted:

Bracket removed:

All gone:

This is a comparison between a known good mount I have on hand, and the mount I just took off.
Good one:

Bad one:

Old mount is 3.75” tall

Hockey pucks are 3” tall

So I stacked .75” of washers

Drilled the hockey pucks:

Installed a sway bar bushing on the bottom of the 8” bolt to reduce the vibration:

In place:

Bolted up:

The old mount looks like a rare 2 piece unit.....lol

But the new one you built probably feels better when you drop the throttle :)

Do you wet sand the whole time or just with the rougher grits?
