First look inside:

On further inspection; I found out this rear end spider gear had been having issues for quite a while. This failure was due to extreme wear on that one gear. .

Grabbed a used set of spiders from the u-pull, cleaned out the pumpkin. Only found 5 small chunks from when the spider broke, several of the teeth had already worn out completely already leaving just a few to do anything at all. I cleaned out what is best described as metal paste from the differential, the ring and pinion seemed to survive just fine, only one spot in one of the ring teeth was effected, but looks like I lost the ABS sensor. Threw the new set of spiders in and filled it back up with some really heavy gear oil.

And it's back on the road, and the rear end feels way different now. So much quieter than it's ever been.
