ROLER ROCKERS

Post by n/a silver bonne »

I want to put some different ratio roler rockers on my 00 SLE. I have alot of aftermarket suppliers available to me through work. I am wondering if someone has use anyone elses product besides Intense or any of the 3800 specialists. Will rockers off of any other aplication work for this.(ie.small block LS based engines). I live in Canada and the $ sucks right now and want to do this a cheeply as possible. I hate paying retail prices when I can get wholesale on almost anything else. Also what is stock ratio, and what would be ideal for me to go to. I drive this car alot, and just want a little more pull. What else do I need to do when I do this.

Stock ratio is 1.6:1

Harland shard is the only aftermarket people that make a rocker for us that is not sold thru Intense or ZZP.... that I'm aware of..
The Harland rocker is stock ratio, its just roller tip and can be bought thru summit racing for like $375.00

I'd just go with something from ZZP or intense.
or a cam...

Either way, go ahead and mod, and remember to take enough time to have fun while your doing it.

The best rockers for your engine are ZZP's ER rockers.

You can get the rockers straight from Yella Terra for cheaper than what Intense and ZZP sell them for though. Atleast thats what I was told by Yella Terra in an email conversation.

Not true at all.

I pursued YT rockers long before INTENSE or ZZP carried them. The price was nearly 300% direct from YT. They're in Australia. Way back in the old days, we had to get group buys together here to purchase the price down to probably 150% of INTENSE's price.
