Naw, then they would have mated the less-then-capable 4T65E to it...I've always been very much against the Chevy smallblock 5.3 with the 4T65E. The 4T80E was a much better choice. Say what you will about the Northstar drivetrain, it was a good move. If you wanted the 5.3 version, there is the GP GXP. That being said...the car will sell fast!

but if it was RWD you could just mate a t56 or a tr6060 to it

I just got the car back from paintless dent repair, it looks 100%. The guy did a great job. The dent on the quarter panel is GONE. The scuffing on the hood is GONE. That small scratch that was even in the ebay pictures, turned out to be some gunk on TOP of the paint, a fingernail fixed that. Now, the exterior is flawless. I'm going to wash it up today and put a for sale sign in it.

you would be surprised how often "scratchs" are just paint transfer from what ever rubed the car, I would say 15-20% of the cars that come into my work for a repaint are only that. and 15-30% go from looking trashed to almost not to bad with a quick wipe with some paint thinners.

Had 2 emails so far. First guy wanted to know the mileage, duh, check the ad.

Second guy wanted to know my bottom dollar. He said he is in Fargo and wants to know the bottom dollar before he drives 5+ hours. I told him I could meet him in SD if he is serious.

Unless something drastic happens, I'm going to consider the car sold, as of Sunday the 15th. The guy is taking a train down from Fargo, ND to St Paul. I'll meet him there with the car. He said the bank asked for the VIN. We agreed on $9500.
