I can only imagine how fun that car would be to drive. :) My brother's buddy has an 04 SS and that car moves, I bet with the V8 and extra ponies it has to be even better by far. Nice choice, I like the newest generation of Impalas for sure.

Lucky you....

Insurance would rape me, I'm been looking around for cars, that was on top until insurance said no-no.

Yup. The same, torque-managed, 4T-65E weak link package. What I don't understand is that this is an SS...so one would think it should have, among other things, a transmission cooler, and more gauges. It doesn't.

So, when the car goes to the shop this week for a NEW exhaust and a few new stickers covered under warranty, I'm going to price what a 9C1-spec trans cooler runs (and I KNOW 9C1s have them) with labor and all so the warranty isn't voided.

Funny thing about the insurance....it didn't change at all coming from the Maxx.

Sounds like something came apart inside the Muffy... Almost like a marble rolling around... So the dealership is fixing it with the other small items under warranty

Gonna save up for a Borla exhaust...I got ALOT of making up to do in the savings account before that happens though. I may very well have to let the SSE go at a cut-throat price just to move it.

Thanks for the comments guys. It took a good two days to get the car to look the way it does now...and I still have some touching up to do. It's an 08, but used...it was an ex-rental that came from NJ, so it has LOTS of small nicks. But that's the reason I got it at a good price.

A name...it needs one. Tossing a few around in the noggin, and the Grand Prix (I will post pics of it later on, it needs a good CB and LG treatment too) as well.
