I hear ya, going from my 18" Combo on AutoX Street tires (STIFF sidewalls, uber grippy) to 17" with Winter tires.... It's like going from a Corvette to a Caddy. Those spokes are too small for that car... But should be easy to keep snow free, and clean.
Regarding tread width, the winter ones look narrower tread wise, because they have blocky shoulders, summers are much more rounded off, and "usable" tread extends further on them.
That'll be better to drive than the H body yes, but you guys are insane to want to store a 15 year old Bonneville instead of that beauty...

I haven't had any plates at all until today. They came in the mail. I should have a front plate, but I didn't let the dealer drill the holes to mount the bracket. If I do put the front plate on, I'll get creative with it.
