MWBF 09, New Ulm MN?
Ok, so what about moving MWBF to my place, near New Ulm, MN? I know it's kinda far, but we have a lot of MN members, so let the IL & IN members drive for once, LOL.

Depending on the time everything is set in stone, my situation, my finances, and if my work will let me. I would be a "maybe."

Re: MWBF 09, New Ulm MN?
But I want to go to WCBF, and people can afford to take 2 weeks a row off of work and stuff (my dad), and I don't want to interfere with WCBF and all that. I'm thinking last week of June, first week of July, just as a loose estimate.
Also, we have 1 or 2 rooms at our place, and there are a few cheap hotels in NU which is only ~18 miles away.

Would camping be an option? i would very much prefer that over a hotel if we could. and i definitely dont want it back to back with WCBF, getting the time off would be impossible.00Beast wrote:But I want to go to WCBF, and people can afford to take 2 weeks a row off of work and stuff (my dad), and I don't want to interfere with WCBF and all that. Re: MWBF 09, New Ulm MN?
Yeah, but it seems like camping is iffy with thunderstorms. There will be room for it, for sure, though. My grandpa owns a 3 acre picnic area with a shelter, volleyball net, and a bonfire ring. We could probably get a porta potty, as well. We also have 4 couches for people to crash on, as well as the floor, LOLGoldenBullet wrote:Would camping be an option? i would very much prefer that over a hotel if we could. and i definitely dont want it back to back with WCBF, getting the time off would be impossible.00Beast wrote:But I want to go to WCBF, and people can afford to take 2 weeks a row off of work and stuff (my dad), and I don't want to interfere with WCBF and all that. EDIT: This is not a for sure thing yet, I'm just seeing how many people would want/be able to come, so don't plan on it yet, but I'm seriously wanting to do it, just don't know if it is all going to work out.
