Smelly cat.
I have that sulfur smell coming from my Magnaflow everytime I get on it since I put it on about a year ago. Does this mean that something is not running right or is it normal? I read a poster in the shop that did the work and it said that the cat should never fail, and only will fail due to the engine not running right. Is this bogus or true?

Although I was told that high-flow cats will never scrub the gases as well as an OEM cat

Add me to the list. Didn't know what it was until I read this post. I thought it might be coming from the engine bay. It seems odd that the smell from under the car would get inside the passenger compartment when the vehicle is moving at speed.

I had that smell off and on when I bought my car in 2001.
Still get it once in a blue moon, never figured out why...
However it passes Indiana emissions, so I dont worry about it...
