New flowmaster exhaust (video)

Post by lowrider0308 »

After driving for about 8 months with the stock exhaust on my Silverado, I decided I wanted to get duals put on. After being let down with the sound of my old Bonne, I decided I was going to be very selective on which muffler I got this time. After researching and listening to some clips, I decided to go with a Flowmaster 50 series delta flow. They are a lot quieter than the super 40's, and dont make a "pop-pop-pop" sound that 40's and glass packs seem to make when your in the throttle. For $330 I ordered the muffler off jegs and had duals welded on with full size truck tips. Here is a little video of it. (BTW-The windows are down in the video)

I havent got a WOT video yet, but let me tell you it is AWESOME. I can definitely feel a boost in top end power.

sounds good!

IMO...if you own a v8 truck, louder exhaust is a must. before i bought my bonne, i owned 2 dodge trucks. for both, the very first thing i would have done was had a glasspack installed along with some 3.5" x 18" chrome tips. i sure do miss that rumble!

If it's for a V8, it won't sound raspy, if it is a V6 it will sound raspy over about 3k, especially the S/C cars (Read: SilverBullet), LOL

Your opinion is based off of (our) V6 cars, more than likely. On the 350 it will sound great. Flowmaster is one of the best for V8 vehicles, IMO.
