Yes, my fogs work like they should.
Yes, only for the cool factor.

Re: Do you use your Fogs/Driving lights?
I'm still running my stock fog lights, but I ditched the 880 bulbs when one of them burnt out.
Since then I run 893's (37.5 Watts vs 25 watt 880's) and there is a big difference with them on vs off -even with the Silverstar low beams.

Re: Do you use your Fogs/Driving lights?
I don't even have my angel eyes hooked up. They are several years old, and one has water inside it. I thought about replacing them with the stock ones, but I won't do that until the front end gets painted.
I dont use mine unless its raining, because the stock yellow of the foglights looks bad compared to my blueish headlights.

Re: Do you use your Fogs/Driving lights?
I replaced the stock yellow light bulbs with SilverStars to match the other white light beams. They work as they should. I only use them if it's foggy, which around here at this time of year is a lot.
I have fogs on my Jeep also but never use them in the summer, only in winter.

I just use my fog lights because they look cool ... well, they do make a pretty big difference.

I have the angel eyes and use them all the time.
I have the halo's hooked up to the park lights so they are on all the time and have a nice faint effect.

I turn mine on every night. It helps illuminate the side of the road, to help in seeing deer. I turn them off during the day. I wish the fog lights only came on when the headlights were on, and not with the driving lights during the day.

Bonneville's don't have just driving lights?JAmon wrote:I turn mine on every night. It helps illuminate the side of the road, to help in seeing deer. I turn them off during the day. I wish the fog lights only came on when the headlights were on, and not with the driving lights during the day.
Headlights are on as soon as you turn the ignition, well it does on mine at least o.o

Re: Do you use your Fogs/Driving lights?
I'm somewhere in between, Canadian cars have the daytime running lights as seen as the autocrossing done in my sig (do the US ones?), so I have those under normal circumstances, but my foglight switch is always set to have them on so that when the full headlighting system comes on, the fogs are on.
I do like the lower and wider area of illumination right in front, and they also do look really cool.

Re: Do you use your Fogs/Driving lights?
I think it looks cool. Plus the Angel Eyes kicked the stockers out of the water on the '93. But That hasn't been on the road for a year.
The '01, I would drive with them on for the cool factor but I have a wiring problem somewhere. Both intermittently go out, the drivers side more than the other. It looks like someone cut and/or fixed a cut wire about 2-3 inches from the connection. So since usually only one comes on, I leave them off.
I'll probably keep the stock ones though. I don't want a fog light that will not fill the hole in the bumper. I believe the holes are the same size between the '93 and the '01 but the '93 hides them back a little more so it's less noticeable I think.
But anyway, I'd have them on any time the lights are on, If they worked on the '01.

Re: Do you use your Fogs/Driving lights?
I use sylvania's cool blue low beams/high beams. I bought and installed 880 silverstar fog's, but my driver side fog light is too high and doesn't show on the road like it should. So, until I get it aimed, i really don't use my fogs.

Re: Do you use your Fogs/Driving lights?
In the Aurora they're on unless DRL is in command, once dark the full front illumination package is on. The fogs in the GTP only come on when you manual twist the stalk. They do not have a default "on" position once DRL is off.
But more to the point, it's because its cool to have them on

Re: Do you use your Fogs/Driving lights?
Mine are on all the time. I took power from the fog light switch for the compass mirror so if I want to see where I'm going I need the fogs on.
Besides, with all the idiots on the road these days, we need to be seen and the fogs help do that.

I also use mine mostly in the rain. Gives a slightly better view of the road, and helps to be seen better (hopefully) by other drivers.

In the Saab, I just use the Xenons because they're so pretty to look at plus they light up well. The fogs mainly light up the first 3 or 4 feet from the car while the Xenons light up way ahead.
Long story short: occasionally.
