20 inch rim/tires question

Hello!

I have a 2000 SSEi Bonneville. I am looking at getting a set of 20 inch rims and just curious about tire fitment.

I have seen people running 245/40zr20 tires on 20x8.5 rims both in real life (never got to ansk the owners) and on this forum. My question is do they rub at this size? Would I be better off going with a 235/40zr20 tire?

I’m already settled on 20’s as this car isn’t going to be a corner carver (I have a Trans Am for that), but more of a cruiser/straight line speed type of ride.
