I know I will catch heat for this but it's a 2007 Lucerne and I was unable to find a proper forum for them, or didn't LOOK hard enough.
I am having an issue with my injectors and I think they're faulty from the factoryon the premise that two of the sleeves came off the injectors. It was very pronounced when I started the engine after having changed the plugs and wires (THAT was a task). When I put the sleeves back on No. 3 and 6 i could still hear a hissing sound. I used brake cleaner to spray on the No 3 injector and noticed a change in engine speed. The cup.... or where the lower part of the injector goes.... was still pulling air through it.
My question is... Are there injectors that I could use from another vehicle(s) that would interchange to this and not have a tendency to come apart?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
