This happened while I was visiting a friend that lives on a golf course:
I didn't really want to mess with a traditional body shop so I took a chance with paintless dent repair. It's not perfect but it's pretty darn good. At least I kept the original paint. I was told my dent was one of the deepest they have encountered. You may want to try this option.
I have used a place called "The Dent Doctor" a couple of times to take out door dents.
These dents were caused by ignorant or careless people in parking lots.
They did a great job and you could not tell they were ever there.
It is a heck of a lot cheaper than a body shop to fill and paint.
They can fix most dents unless it is an area where it is doubled wall and there is no access.
As long as the paint is still intact they can take most dents out.
If the paint is all scrapped or damaged a body shop will have to fix it.
Looks good to me too. Typical body repair would probably show after only a short time. - BC

Yup, I agree with everyone's comments. Faster, cheaper and original paint kept intact. It cost me $150 whereas body shops wanted about $700 and to keep the car for 5 days.
