Front end swap (Again)

Post by ProblematicBonneville »

just wondering, is there anybody out there that has owned a 92-95 Bonneville and a 96-99 Bonneville that can tell me the true differences between the front ends, has anybody tired to do a swap like this? would it be bolt on or should i expect to do some costume fabrication? i really like the front end of 92-95 and like the rear end of the 96-99.

The grill, fenders, bumpers and headlights/corners all need to go together. Although some have swapped 96-99 headlights into 92-95s with modification and depending on the trim, grills may interchange. The hoods are the same 92-99. Keep in mind the newer door moldings and rear bumper won't match up with any 92-95 front bumper.

you have any links or pictures of what that headlight swap looks like? I guess I should just find a 92-95 Bonneville really.

BTW I really like your Bonneville, with the manual swap and all, props to you man. It looks great!

Thank you!

Matt is the last person that did it but with projectors. I can't find the other one or two examples from way back when.
