Salvage Parts Question

Post by justhalc »

What were the changes between my 98 SE and the next generation of Bonnevilles? I'm not looking for a complete list, but I have an issue with my 98 where it sat for a while due to busted brake lines, and a squirrel got into it and chewed through some lines and wiring. What I'm looking for is a plastic fuel line that runs from the passenger side frame rail, across the front of the car to I'm guessing a breather on the driver's side. Would that be the same between a 98 and a newer 2000 and up?

The part I'm looking for is item 20 - EVAP pipe P/N: 25669883

Nothing 2000+ will be compatible. It was a complete platform redesign.

This is a discontinued part, no dealers will have it. You'll need to source it used somewhere. It can come from a Bonneville or LeSabre.

Darn, thanks for the reply, I knew where a donor 2000+ car was I was hoping to get parts from.

If that nylon tube is damaged, you can repair it like you would with a fuel line. That topic comes up here.
