99 Bonneville ABS light still on after replacing wheel beari

99 Bonneville ABS light still on after replacing wheel beari

Replaced rear wheel bearing as the sensor was bad... go to start car and ABS light still on. How do you reset the computer system to wipe out the abs light? New sensor tests good and lines going up to ABS control module are testing good. ..

If the new sensor tests good, there must be another sensor that's out. The light will go away automatically once there's no code anymore.

A vehicle has to move for it to test the sensors. You might have to unhook the battery for a minute to clear an active code.
