White Wheels?

Post by Ghosthawk »

I've been looking at quite a few different wheels for my Grand Prix and I've noted while browsing pictures that Pontiac has offered color coordinated wheels on several cars. On both GP and Bonnevilles, I've seen the white center/spokes with a polished or chrome lip. I personally think a white car is the only color that can effectively use a white wheel and not look overdone.

I'll add some pics after I get home tonight of possible choices, but feel free to chime in with pics or ideas of your own.

Yah or nay...

White on white works. White on much else does not.

For my Grand Prix, this one is the closest to the factory style
Image

This one has a bit more Euro feel
Image

This one is my fave because the white is more an accent than full color

I think you're right that a white car is the only one that can pull it off.

Out of the three options you put up, I like the 1st one most personally, but I see what you like about the 3rd as well. I think they'd both look great on a well maintained, clean can.

I actually really like the first one and the third one where the white is an accent color. Haven't seen that style before.
