2001 se looking to properly power/ground upgrade. Need advic
Ok i have 01 se. I just upgraded from stock alternator to 220 amp hi output yesterday. I have 4 g amp kit installed for my subs amp. I have a small kinetic battery (will be upgrading to bigger) and a capacitor hooked up well was hooked up before i disconnected few days before replaced my alternator. But i will be hooking this all back up as soon as i get help from here. Anyway my subs are 2 12' diamond d3's and a audison amp thats pushing 1000rms but im told its really about 1500w bc its way underrated. Yes so far im very pleased with it. Anyway ill get back to point. Im looking into doing big 3 upgrade but am not finding any installs done with the battery in trunk. If someone would help id sure appreciate it. Also since i just upgraded alternator i was curious to any input on the power wire thats connected to alt running to jump post lead under hood. Its like 10 maybe 8 gauge and if i can upgrade it and how. I will be just running my 2 12's and audison amp for now but will very possibly be upgrading in future and there really isnt an overkill on this issue to me. Thanks again.

What is it that you want to know that is giving you trouble? Are you seriously asking how to upgrade a 10 gauge wire? If you want to upgrade a 10 gauge wire, you get a bigger wire and put it where the 10 gauge wire is.
