Dead 2003

Post by jdecker »

Car won't start! 2003 SLE not getting power to starter solenoid and I don't hear the fuel pump coming on, everything else works. I've checked all of the fuses under the hood and under seat and swapped relays with known good ones. Security light isn't flashing or anything crazy so I don't think it's an issue there. Any ideas? Could it be the transmission position switch? If so is there any way to check it? Open to anything, need to get it going.

Neutral safety switch is a possibility, it could also be the ignition switch itself.
A temporary fix does not exist. It becomes a solution until it needs to be fixed again.

To confirm, you checked (load tested) the battery and connections? Did you also try to boost the car? Good Luck.
