2000 Bonneville Blend Door Actuators

Post by dougtoth »

How many blend door actuators are there on a 2000 SLE Bonneville?
Are they the same part number or are there different part numbers?
I am getting heat on the floor mode on the passenger side but not the drivers side.
Also must you reboot (disconnect negative battery cable) after installation for it to learn?

With the dual climate control there are 4 actuators. They are all different part numbers.

Driver Airmix Actuator (controls temp for drivers side)
Mode Actuator (directs air from defrost, vent, floor)
Passenger Airmix Actuator (controls temp for passenger side)
Inlet Actuator (controls whether fresh air or recirculate)

They are plug and play, no reboot necessary.

I have hot air on the driver side, cold air of the passenger side with the AC on. I have terrible week airflow on the floor with heat or AC on . As of last fall, the AC pressure is good. Do I need one, two, three, or four actuators, or do I need the whole unit? Also, is there any advantage to buying new over used ?

Thanks,
