Sunroof will vent but not open and will not close.

Post by beeman212 »

Had bad rim module and replaced it and everything worked again except now sunroof will go into vent position but wont open or close unless you pull headliner and manually shut it..... before the rim went bad sunroof had no problems.....
Any ideas where i should check or test...
Thanks for your time

Do you mean that you have to move the sunshade?

To test if your sunroof assembly is broken, remove the 4 screws and take out the glass. Then operate the switch and watch both sides. I have a feeling that one side is broken and is "along for the ride". There is no fix for this, you must replace the entire assembly.
