The noise: at low speeds (5-10 mph) it's like a mix between a rattle, grind, and howl. At higher speeds it's more of a howl than rattle, but still slightly grinding. It sounds like it's coming from the front passenger side but I can't tell for sure.
Here's where it gets odd. It does NOT do it at idle or under any acceleration, only during coasting/deceleration. Turning either direction makes it stop. Lightly pressing the brake changes the pitch, firm pressure makes it stop. Any ideas?
Strange noise, need help.

First thing I'd do is check the wheel bearings...

Also sounds like wheel bearings to me. Does it get worse the longer you drive on it (i.e., as it heats up)?

It doesn't seem to be any different based on the length of time driving. I was thinking bearings but the fact that it stops in turns and with acceleration threw me off.

Wheel bearings can produce some bizarre, and varying, symptoms. Check 'em - its cheap & easy. Like me.

No ABS light. I'm ordering some hubs tonight. Might as well do brakes too. They aren't bad yet but they won't make it the rest of the year.

Re: Strange noise, need help.
Definitely sounds like a bearing to me. Just did a rear left hub on my car last week. It was producing random groans, typically when turning left. Very easy to check on, and the rear hubs are cake, if that's what it ends up being for you. Might need PB blaster and a hammer to ease removal from the control arm.
If it's a front, they're not much worse.
