IM BACK....but not in a bonneville

Post by PLAGUE PHANTOM »

I've been gone for quite awhile. I have fully recovered from a head on collision that destroyed my Bonneville. I'm back with something a little old school  . 1968 Bel air. Numbers matching engine and trans (not for long). 307 with a 2spd powerglide. Currently being restored. Here are the plans for it:

Install a full air suspension kit (already have)
Engine and trans swap (already have a complete power/drivetrain from a wrecked 2006 GTO)
Full interior ( thinking of having everything fiberglassed smooth)
Custom gauges
Custom paint ( metallic grape with creme white top and some pearl/ color changing flake)

Parts I need:

Both genders
Hood
Trunk lid
Rear quarters
Windshield and rear glass

This is the pic the day I got her:

This her before I put her up for the winter. I already lowered the car 3" all the way around:

Lol John beat me to it!

But man, an LS2 swap will surely wake the car up! Are you swaping in an auto, or the 6 speed from the GTO? Eithrr way, I cant wait to see progress pics as the build comes along. I always love builds like this! :D

Woops on the typo...lol. I need both fenders. I plan on swapping in a manual trans. I have both an auto and a manual trans but was having a hard time deciding which one. The color is rattle can from the previous owner

Cool that you got yourself a classic rolling project! A manual trans would be fun.
