POP AND SLIPPING SOUND

When driving my bonnie the front end makes a popping sound when i make a had stop or after take off from stopping coming from the front end and shakes really bad at 45-65mph what could be some things to look at

hi, please inspect ball joints for excessive play- they should be solid
poverty forces one to do unorthodox things

Also, check the front motor mount. Have someone look under the hood while you shift from reverse to drive with your foot on the brake and check for a lot of motor rocking from front to back. Check this site for information on boat roller or hockey puck motor mount. These things are known for having problems with motor mounts and most of us have replaced them with "better than original" mounts.
