Latest wheels - Nissan Maxima SV

Post by LeSabreUltra »

Hey there, it's been a while since I've been here, this forum last saw me in a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ 3.6. Traded it in at 101k miles for this. It's a 2012 Maxima SV Premium, Super Black with black leather and red stitching accents on the inside. One owner and barely 20k miles. It's my first ever Maxima and I'm loving it. Here's a few pics, and I have to thank my wife for being so patient with me as I took many of these when we were supposed to be on vacation. Car guy stuff, you know.

For any interior pictures, please excuse if there are plastic bags on anything, the car was undergoing a full Leatherique treatment, which I highly recommend.

Not a whole lot done yet, and don't really have anything major planned. So far it's got nearly the full LED upgrade inside and out. 5000K LEDs for the license plate and back up lights, and same goes for all of the interior lights except for the footwell and trunk lights, those I prefer to keep halogen.

Power wise, well it's got enough to get the job done and then some. 5.6 second 0-60 and 14.3 @ 97.7 quarter mile time stock. The VQ35DE doesn't disappoint.

Thanks for looking!

Here's a few more...some night shots. 5000k LED illumination inside and out is the only modification I've made to it. It's got factory HIDs which I intend to keep, as well as the halogens in the footwells and trunk as you'll see in the pics.

LED illumination for the license plate.

Factory HID beam pattern...its got an amazing amount of color at the center of the cutoff line.

Some better interior shots, cause my earlier ones sucked.

Nissan's friendly reminder in case you can't figure out how to start it.

Always thought these were quirky looking, but they are very nice cars to drive and be inside of. Love the black on black! Lights look great too.

I love interior photos taken at night. I think they are more aesthetic. I've seen the wheels somewhre too, but what little is left of my memory doesn't recall where. - BC

They were nice but wasnt for me when I had one.

Wife says I'm not allowed to put the spoiler on it :(

I mentioned it once, but she said she liked it just the way it looked.

I always get nervous when she borrows it, the datalogger always comes back with some interesting throttle position numbers.

It is a lot of fun to drive though, so I can't blame her.

Looks great! The black interior is a little dark for my personal taste but I do love the black exterior colour!

Thanks man! I wasn't too sure about all that black either at first but it's grown on me.
