Needing help
So since sidepost batteries are the greatest thing to ever be invented (purely kidding) I had installed one of those replacement bolts with the screw so that you can put a terminal for your power for an amplifier. I had experienced problems with the system at first merely getting it to not be in security mode and allow me to start it. Well i had it working then removed my subs and left my wires all in there along with the amp and about 5 months later i put in a new sub and it doesnt power up so i go and check over everything and its all fine and dandy until i see a little scorch on my terminal on my positive post of my battery so i take it off and recrimp it and reattatch it and now my car wont let me start it and best of all my fuse box next to the battery is making a tick noise when i have my key in the on position so any ideas? I havent hacked anything up i just want it to start to be honest. Any help would be much appreciated.

It is kind of fast i honestly never kept it on that long due to worrying if it would cause any other problems

Re: Needing help
Have you unplugged what you added on to the battery and tried it?
I personally would have and did use the red terminal under the cover right there next to the battery. Put your ring under that nut, dont bother with the add on bolt to the battery.

I was actually able to trouble shoot it to a faulty battery to some extent so I replaced the battery but now my aftermarket radio won't power on so yay
