Who's going?

Re: Indian Uprising
So you're gonna be here?
We psuedo boycott them due to past issues with the Cruisin' Tigers. It's a long story, but they were a little two-faced in including us (GTO's), in this annual party each year when our cars first came out. Then old school members would make stupid comments and sh*t at the actual show about us and our cars. Only one guy there (Paul66 if I recall), would stand up for us.
Time has softened things a little and you will see a few CHC GTO's/G8's there, but alas...
But yes, I could see if I can swing by. St. Charles is next door to me. For the past few years, it has been held there at Pheasant Run. Before that it was at Elfstrom Stadium where the Kane County Cougars play.

Re: Indian Uprising
Yes, if it weren't for the fact that they are featuring the full sized models this year, I might have over looked it, but seeing as how I have shown all my other cars at one time or another, other than my GXP, I thought this was a good show to attend, based on this.
The Full sized show is from 12- 2 pm Saturday.
Look me up, I'll be with the Greystone GXP with the non-black wheels! LOL!

Re: Indian Uprising
Makes me wish I had the Catalina in tip-top shape. You don't get many times to see the praise of full-size Poncho's. It's always GTO's.

Ahhh....... Catalina's. I think probably the most over-looked performance car made, in the proper trim (ie: 421 tri-power). - BC

Re: Indian Uprising
Trust me, mine is far from that or a Swiss Cheese car, but it'd been in the family since the great grandparents purchased it new in '67 and it was my first car when I turned 15 (to get it ready for when I turned 16 and was then legal... Or something...).

Re: Indian Uprising
Bumping this because it's this weekend.
I have to work Saturday. So I won't be around until later in the day. If anything, I will come by Sunday to the actual show.

Re: Indian Uprising
For an "ALL" Pontiac show, my Bonneville was the only one of ANY 88-05 Bonneville on the show field.
Kinda surprised that this was such an ignored segment of the Pontiac world.
Oh well, me and my wife had fun, I got my picture I wanted of the first and last year Bonneville, and Lane found us just as we were leaving. Not a bad weekend. The drive was 5.5 hours from home and it felt good to be behind the wheel of my GXP for that amount of time.
That last picture was one they took of all entrants into the show that they photo shopped.
