o2 sensor replace

Post by pfmeeks »

Im needing to replace my front o2 on my 04 Bonneville 3.8 engine. Do I need any special tools to get it out or can a typical wrench get it done ? It looks a little hard to get too..

I don't know that you can break it free with a regular wrench, since the 12 point end may round the corners and the open end probably won't grip enough.
Most people use a specialty socket like this type to make the job easier : http://www.amazon.com/TEKTON-47749-8-In ... sor+socket
