My car won't shutoff

I have a 02 bonneville. When I start the car a let it run, when I turn the key to off and pull it out the car keeps running. Not deseiling either. Runs and drives that way. The only way I've found to turn it off is to pull the fuel pump relay. Is there a relay to keep the car running that maybe sticking? Idk I'm lost!

it sounds like an ignition switch issue...i had it happen to me in a 98' ford ranger, but im new here and not sure if it was a common issue on the bonneville's

Never heard of this before. Sounds like ignition issue to me as well. Do all the instruments continue to operate without the key? (dash, radio, heater?)

Only some of the stuff works. Like the dash does, but not the wipers and a few other things. It's almost like I have a remote start that I can't turn off.

The other thing is, if I turn the key to on without starting it, I will turn on and off all day. It's something that after I start it, it won't turn off. Maybe I can take a video of it. I've unplugged the battery for now to see if something will reset or something stupid like that

Update, I unplugged the battery for a while. Now everything is back to normal. Wired, I'm guessing the bcm controls the ignition and had something messed up. Thank for your guys input

hmm thats is weird...hopefully this issue doesnt reoccur
