Moog ST8560 Complete Strut Assembly any one use them?

Post by MrJiggy716 »

Obviously dont want to use the monoes due to them jacking the front end sky high. Yes could buy the monroes and use my OEM spring but for a tad bit more and to save me the hassle of changing the springs. and just by the Moogs? Has anyone used these before? I have always trusted Moog products... Thanks Gentlemen

I'm not aware of anyone who has tried these. From what I've read, Moog bought Gabriel. I've not been impressed with Gabriel's products, but have no idea if Moog may have improved them.

I love the way the Bonny handles wouldn't change springs unless they break. If you don't want to install take to a shop and have them put on struts for you. Should be about the same cost as the springs extra cost.

So I decided to try out the Moog complete struts. The ride is pretty great. It does lift the front end up quite a bit just as expected. I was a little skeptical about using them since on the moog problem solver part fitment guide, for some reason they removed the strut off the list. Even on rock auto where i purchased them it doesn't list the bonneville. I went for it anyway and am glad I did. Not a bad strut for 96 bux.

Lets see a picture of how bad the "lift" is now with the Moogs. The Gabriels made my car very bouncy at take off especially when turning at take off.
