Radio display led's burnt out again.

Post by FrankAR15 »

Stock Monsoon radio was replaced 3 years ago with refurbished one for exact same problem of led's burning out.(partial display)

Just wondering if anyone has the stock navi unit and if it's worth looking for, or just go aftermarket. Need a user friendly radio/GPS/Bluetooth.

You mean stock Monsoon unit, right? Bonne's never came with navigation from the factory. Where are you located? Andrew replaces the lighting, and I know of guys here in Chicago that do it too.

I did my wife's 04 se a few years back. I think I spent $11 on bulbs and replaced all of them as long as I was in there. It really was not a big deal. I think it took me a total of about 2 hours. Make sure you have a low watt soldering iron. Just be patient.

Could someone please let us know what bulbs are used on the display? Mine just went out also and I would like to replace the bulbs in the radio if I can.
